For any Permits issued after May 4th, 2026, your Certificate of Completion and Occupancy requests can be submitted online, directly via your CSS account.\u00a0<\/p>

For previously issued Permits, we will still accept certificate requests using the form included in the Permit documents you received when the Permit was issued.\u00a0<\/p>

However, as of September 1st, 2026 we will stop accepting those request forms and all requests for certificates must<\/strong> be submitted via the CSS.\u00a0<\/p>

A Certificate of Completion and Occupancy must be issued before a development can be brought into operation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

How to Submit a Request<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a01. Log into your Customer Self Service (CSS)<\/strong><\/a> account<\/p>

2. Use the Permit Reference number (eg. ‘B0001-26’) to search for your Permit<\/p>

OR<\/em><\/p>

Find the permit on your ‘My Work’ page.<\/p>

3. Open the Permit and click on Sub-Records<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

4. Find the option to Apply for a Partial or a Final Certificate.<\/p>

(If you do not see the option to apply for the certificate that you want, please contact us at planningfrontdesk@gov.bm or call 297-7756.)<\/em><\/p>

5. Follow instructions provided to complete the request.<\/p>

A Partial Certificate request will incur a fee of $50, in accordance with Government Fees Amendment Regulations 2018.\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>
An invoice will be sent to you shortly after you have submitted your Partial Certificate request.\u00a0<\/div>

If you do not<\/strong> receive that invoice, please contact us at planningfrontdesk@gov.bm.\u00a0<\/p>
