The Department of Planning is pleased to officially announce details about our new file management system, titled \u2018Energov\u2019.
\nReasons behind the Department\u2019s decision to adopt a new system include the following:<\/p>\n
The Department had a \u2018soft launch\u2019 of the Energov system on December 3, 2018 in tandem with the release of the Draft Bermuda Plan 2018. External users had the opportunity to submit objections\/representations to the zonings and policies of the said plan via the online \u2018Citizen Self Service\u2019 (CSS) portal:\u00a0https:\/\/planningenergov.gov.bm\/EnerGov_Prod\/SelfService#\/home<\/a> Phase 1: Internal launch August 5th<\/strong> Making submissions after August 5th:<\/strong> Alternatively, you may make a hard copy submission (one paper copy) minus the requisite fee.<\/p>\n All submissions received will be registered in Energov and then vetted. An invoice with payment instructions will be generated and sent to the applicant via email. Payment can be made at the ACG window as at present, or by electronic bank transfer. Once payment is confirmed, the assessment of the submission will commence.<\/p>\n All submissions are a matter of public record and will be accessible through the CSS.<\/p>\n Phase 2: Full public launch<\/strong> The Department of Planning is pleased to officially announce details about our new file management system, titled \u2018Energov\u2019. \nGoing forward, the Department is continuing the roll out of Energov in a two phased approach for the primary purpose of ensuring that Department staff are fully converse with utilizing the system prior to being able to assist the agents\/applicants when making online submissions through the CSS Portal. This approach was determined the most suitable in order to ensure a successful transition to avoid frustration and delays.<\/p>\n
\nAll Department back office processes will be carried out with the use of the new system. Electronic submissions will be available via only the Government\u2019s secure file transfer service, Accellion. The public will be able to monitor application status in the CSS portal.
\nThree CSS information sessions for external users are scheduled for the below dates and times in the boardroom on the 5th floor of the Dame Lois Browne Evans Building. Registration to attend is mandatory due to building access requirements. Please notify cwright@gov.bm which session you plan on attending.<\/p>\n\n
\nApplicants\/agents should submit new applications by uploading documents (minus the requisite fee) in pdf format via Accellion file sharing platform via the following link:\u00a0https:\/\/mft1.securetransfer.gov.bm\/courier\/web\/1000@\/wmReg.html<\/a><\/p>\n
\nAgents will be able to make electronic submissions and payments, schedule inspections etc. via the CSS. We anticipate this full launch will occur approximately 3-6 months from August 5th.
