Most planning applications are decided by the Director of Planning under the Department of Planning’s Scheme of Delegation, which are referred to as ‘Delegated Decisions’. Delegated Decisions
The Development Applications Board, or ‘DAB’, is appointed by the Minister responsible for Planning each year to consider and decide planning applications. In addition to representatives of the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service (Divisional Officer Jamal Albuoy and Lt. Raymond Masters), the Corporation of Hamilton (Mr. Patrick Cooper) and the Corporation of St. George (Cllr. N. Garon Dowling), the DAB currently consists of the following members:
